Herndon, VA – 29th October 2012 – The
E&I Cooperative Purchasing spend analytics contract is proving
a popular addition to their extensive portfolio of competitively
solicited arrangements. Under the contract E&I Cooperative
Purchasing’s 2,600 member institutions are able to purchase the
full range of Spikes Cavell spend and contract analytics products
and services at competitively bid and contracted preferential
rates. Early adopters of the Spikes Cavell Observatory on the
E&I contract include: University of Colorado,
CO; University of Idaho, ID; the multiple
institutions of the University System of New Hampshire,
NH, including the Durham Campus, Keene State College,
Granite State College and the Plymouth Campus; Berkley
College, NY.
Gary Link, E&I Cooperative Purchasing Senior Vice President
- Contracts stated: “E&I’s members are under considerable
pressure to save money and better spend and contract visibility is
critical to that effort. Spikes Cavell continues to demonstrate
that ‘spend analytics’ needn’t take forever, consume lots of
institutional resources or cost the earth. Our member institutions
now have easy and affordable access to Spikes Cavell’s class
leading spend analytics and related products and services. It’s
gratifying to see institutions already benefiting from the
contract.”
Jennifer Nisbet, E&I’s Portfolio Support Executive added:
“We have been very pleased at E&I Member interest in the new
Spikes Cavell contract. Selecting a vendor for spend analysis
normally takes Higher Ed institutions a lot of time and effort so
it is great that the contract is already proving valuable to
members.”
