UI engages Spikes Cavell Analytic Inc., to standardize, classify, enrich and collate $50m of annual spend data and deploy the Spikes Cavell Observatory to deliver improved spend visibility in the hunt for procurement savings..

Uinversity of IdahoHerndon, VA – 13 August 2012  – the University of Idaho (UI) announced that it has concluded a “Best Value” structured RFP process and selected Spikes Cavell as its preferred supplier of spend analysis services. Spikes Cavell will now commence the process of cleansing, classifying and enriching UI’s spend and p-Card data and deploying its online spend and contract analytics tools – the Observatory. The multi-year contract includes a public agency clause that allows use of the contract by all public agencies in the State of Idaho as well as any agency of the state government; or any city or political subdivision of another state.

At the conclusion of our evaluation of spend analytics providers, Spikes Cavell was selected to deliver the spend visibility that will enable UI to drive the transformation of procurement and deliver tangible savings for the University.”

About the University of Idaho

The University of Idaho is the State of Idaho’s oldest public university located in the rural city of Moscow in Latah County in the norhthern portion of the state. UI is the state’s primary research university, and enrols more national merit scholars than all other institutions in the state combined.
